Yoga is fantastic for teaching us to breath deeply and to expand our lung capacity.
Deep breathing allows our body to relax and our stress hormones to reduce.
Concentrating on our breath can allow our breath to become deeper and calmer.
Aim for just 10 minutes.
If you are a beginner start with breathing in and out for 3 counts.
When this starts to feel comfortable then increase to 4 counts in and out.
Deep breathing takes practice.
10 minutes a day can help you to feel rejuvenated.
As you become more experienced you will increase your concentration levels and be able to increase the amount of time for deep breathing.
