I was at the gym recently and I saw this sign about an upcoming challenge.

THIS MADE ME THINK??? As I get older I think that I am fairly content in what I have achieved in my fitness but is this ok? I am at the gym 5 times a week doing my weights and cardio, I walk everyday and do yoga most days, and I try my hardest to maintain my fitness and health.
I have been doing a lot of research about aging and how we lose muscle and get slower as we get older unless we keep going.
The old saying of “use it or loose it” come to mind. As we get older we have to try harder to maintain or to improve our health and fitness than when we are younger. I feel that finding a balance between our mind and body is the most important thing for me.
I would love to think that the best is still to come but I feel lucky to have the health and fitness that I have and hope that I can maintain this for life.
MY MANTRA IS "HEALTH AND FITNESS FOR LIFE"
