As 2022 is quickly coming to an end,
I am starting to plan my break and priorities for 2023.
I have always been a goal setter even before it was a thing!!
To me, it was just normal to think about what you wanted to achieve in different parts of your life.
I have exciting new beginnings coming soon.
New beginnings with a new addition to our family. We are soon to be blessed with our first grandchild. I am feeling so blessed and to say that I am excited is an understatement.
In my quest to find balance in my life and continue to keep my own goals and dreams alive while putting family first, I am planning what I can and letting go of control of what is not in my control.
I have enrolled in 2 online courses to build my knowledge on up-to-the-minute research in two very important areas of a womens life.
The first one is programming for Post pregnancy for recovery from pregnancy and childbirth. Obviously, this subject is very relevant to me and I have helped so many women over the past thirty years in this area. My daughter and I are connecting and I am helping her with her needs in this area and will continue to be a support to her in her recovery.
The second online course is working with peri-menopause and menopausal women over 50. The course Looks at their particular needs and the way fitness and wellbeing leaders can support them during this journey of their life. Peri menopause and menopause can be a very challenging time for most women.
I have lived and thrived during both these times in my life, not without challenges but have learned a lot about myself and have been supported by many natural therapies that have helped me enormously.
I am very passionate to continue to work with women in all areas of their health and wellbeing. In 2023 I will be continuing to support women and will be developing this area. Watch this space if you are interested in working with me in 2023.
Another area that I am hoping to expand in, is the wellbeing and health of employees in the workplace.
Some of the statistics in this area are quite alarming and have even changed a lot since covid and people working from home and many other challenges during the past 2 years.
Some of the statistics are:- ☆ 56% of companies don't have any formal practices in place. Companies need to realise that if they invest into their employees health then performance will goes up. ☆44% of workers think that a wellbeing program at work would boost morale. ☆1 in 2 employees want mental-health support at work but ☆71% of companies don't currently offer classes or coaching in this area.
Some common health conditions among many workers are: Stress 28% Anxiety 24% Depression 20% High blood pressure 12% Cholesterol 9% Diabetes 6%.
Please contact me on 0418111905 if you are interested in providing yoga, pilates circuit style fitness classes to your employees or if you would like to talk to me about what I can offer in 2023.
I have expanded my business in the zoom world and can offer a class that can be viewed anywhere in Australia, and my classes have also been participated by people in New Zealand.
Although these classes are viewed online, participants can still feel connected to colleagues. Colleagues can support each other to attend and commit to classes and help to form good habits for their health and fitness.
Please contact me if you are interested in any of these options for 2023.
I can come in person to Melbourne CBD, South Melbourne or Port Melbourne or basically anywhere online.
